Who can participate in this program?
This program is open to athletes of all skill levels who want to improve their volleyball fundamentals, sportsmanship, and teamwork that are grades 3rd-6th grade (Co-Ed).

What is the schedule for the program?
Practices are held twice a week for five weeks, providing consistent training and development.
· The program runs from April 27 – May 29, 2026.
· Registration is open March 2 – April 24, 2026.
· The 2 practice dates per week will be Monday and Wednesday until 5/25 then Monday and Friday the remaining weeks.
· The last week, there will be a scrimmage, and parents/guardians are invited to come and cheer on their athletes.
All practices/scrimmages are held at the Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valley at 1144 N.E. Cedar Street, Roseburg, OR 97470 in the Gymnasium.

What will participants learn?
Players will focus on volleyball skills and drills, including passing, setting, serving, and hitting, while also learning about teamwork and sportsmanship. All participants will also receive a participation shirt to keep.

What equipment does my child need to participate?
Participants should wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing. Knee pads are highly recommended. Each participant will receive a participation T-shirt to keep, this is included in the program fee.

Who leads the training sessions?
Our program is led by college volleyball players, offering participants a chance to learn from experienced athletes. All coaches complete a thorough background checked and complete a child safety class.

Can parents stay for practice?
It is preferred that parents do not stay in the gym for practice as this is a Club program vs. a sports league. There will be a scrimmage the last week of the program so friends and family can see the progress of their athlete(s).

Is this program for competitive play?
No, this is a developmental program focused on learning and improving skills, not on competitive gameplay.
