After School Programs

Jr. Club (Kindergarten Program)Â
Building Confidence, Friendships, and Fun Every DayÂ
Boys & Girls Club of the Umpqua Valleyâs Jr. Club provides kindergarten students with a safe, welcoming environment after school where they can play, learn, and build meaningful friendships. Members participate in age-appropriate educational, recreational, and enrichment activities led by caring, trained staff.Â
Jr. Club Program Includes:Â

- Arts, crafts, games, and recreationÂ
- Opportunities to build confidence and social skillsÂ
- Positive relationships with trusted adult mentorsÂ
- A safe and supervised environmentÂ
Jr. Club Is Currently FullÂ
Space is limited, and enrollment is based on availability. To join the waitlist, email your first and last name, phone number, and childâs name to contactus@bgcuv.org, or call our office at 541-440-9505.Â
Families will be contacted when an opening becomes available. Once a child is offered a spot, staff will provide instructions for completing registration. Emergency contact and medical information must be provided before enrollment can be finalized.Â
Safe Pick-Up ProceduresÂ
A parent, guardian, or authorized adult must come inside the Club and request that their child be called to the Greeterâs Desk.
Children may only leave with individuals listed as authorized pickups.Â

Teen Center (Grades 6â12)Â
A Space Designed for TeensÂ
Middle and high school students have access to a dedicated Teen Center created specifically for youth grades 6-12. The Teen Center provides a welcoming space where teens can connect with friends, explore new interests, develop leadership skills, and prepare for their future in a supportive environment.Â
Whether they’re looking for a place to study, participate in clubs, gain workforce readiness skills, or simply spend time with positive peers and mentors, the Teen Center offers opportunities designed with teens in mind.Â

- Dedicated Teen Center exclusively for grades 6â12Â
- Homework assistance and academic supportÂ
- Leadership programs including Torch Club and Keystone ClubÂ
- College and career readiness opportunitiesÂ
